According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, a documentary produced by Ship of Theseus director, Anand Gandhi, that traces the journey of the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party, is finally gearing up for a theatrical release. Called ‘Proposition For A Revolution,’ the film will not include the landslide victory that the party managed to score in the recently concluded Delhi elections. Directed by Khushbu Ranka and Vinay Shukla, the documentary chronicles the journey of the party from its formation in December 2012 to the Delhi state elections in December 2013. The makers have successfully managed to raise over Rs 10 lakh through crowd-funding, which will help take the film to the theatres. It has already won awards and accolades at the Busan International Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India. While the documentary will provide an insight into the life of the revolutionary politician and his Aam Aadmi Party, Bollywood would sure love to make a hero out of Arvind Kejriwal.
